I've been into kpop for 13 years now. My favorite artists are Park Jihoon, Aespa, Ha Sungwoon, AKMU, NCT, Kim Jaejoong and Go Younha. I also love old artists such as Bigbang, Teen Top, 2NE1, SNSD, f(x), Shinee, Suju and EXO (ot12 days ㅠㅠ~ I miss them sm).
Aside from kpop I love journaling, collecting school and stationary supplies, studying languages, and experimenting with makeup! I also love making face masks and natural skin care products to use at home ♡
My blog name is made of two Korean words: "eoljjang" and "achim." "Eoljjang" is a combination of "eolgul" which means "face" and "jjang" which is a slang word meaning "great!" Together they become a nickname for someone who is believed to have a great face. "Achim" means "morning" but can also mean "breakfast."
"Eoljjang" doesn't per say apply to me haha, as I don't personally feel I have a great face. But it's a goal for me to eventually have a great face. For me, that means healing my skin which has suffered lots of damage from severe acne and various acne products in previous years. My body is important to me, and I want to heal and care for it in any way that I can. It does a lot for me so I want to do a lot for it as well. ^^ For me, the addition of "morning" is because the dawning of a new day feels very clean, hopeful and refreshing. It's the bright, happy feeling I know I'll have when I reach my goals. ^^
Another reason for the name "eoljjangachim" is because when I first started getting into kpop I also found kfashion and at the time Korean fashion models (aka eoljjangs) were very popular. Especially ones such as Kim Shin Young, Kim Seuk Hye, Kim Dohee, and Park Hwan Hee. I always loved seeing their pictures because they looked so cutely themed, bright, and uplifting! And the fashions were like my dream outfits! I loved how Korea did fashion shoots! I used to blog kfashion, and it was a great way for me to relax, so kfashion eoljjangs remind me of happy, peaceful moments. And that's what I want my blog to be: a happy, peaceful, cozy experience. For me, and for my readers, if any come. ^^
